What is a reduced dental fee plan?
Reduced dental fee plans are designed for individuals, couples, and families looking to save money on dental care. All dentists that participate in reduced dental fee plans agree to accept a lower fee than they normally charge as payment in full for each service performed.

DentaLine comes with a membership card and a complete list of all dental procedures covered and what the reduced professional fee will be. DentaLine is also known as a "referral plan" because we generate new patient referrals to dental offices and will provide a personal referral to consumers looking for specific attributes in a provider. If you prefer, we will also provide you with a list of participating member dentists for you to choose from yourself.

Once enrolled in DentaLine, you may visit a participating member dentist and receive dental treatment at reduced professional fees. When visiting a general dentist, these discounted fees range from 20% to 60% lower than what a dentist normally charges. You simply show your membership card when visiting any participating member dentist to receive your dental services at reduced rates. Unlike insured dental benefits, there are no claim forms, pre-existing condition checks, or paperwork hassles.

Is DentaLine considered dental insurance?
No. DentaLine is not dental insurance. DentaLine is a reduced dental fee plan. Reduced dental fee plans are an innovative alternative to dental insurance, designed to suit the needs of individuals and families looking to save money on dental care. DentaLine has been developed to offer consumers an alternative to traditional plans and for those not able to acquire traditional dental insurance. DentaLine is also often chosen as a supplement to those with a traditional plan that has many limitations and no cosmetic coverage.

How is DentaLine similar to traditional dental insurance plans?
Our member dentists are licensed professionals just like you would find on most traditional insurance plans. All of our providers are in good standing with the state board.

How is DentaLine different from traditional insurance?
DentaLine is different from traditional dental insurance in several ways. First, DentaLine is a reduced fee dental plan. It is easy to enroll in by removing the hassles and waiting periods associated with traditional dental insurance. Also, unlike traditional dental insurance, DentaLine does not deny coverage based on a patient's pre-existing dental conditions, or any other reasons- anyone can join. Another nice feature of DentaLine is there are no complicated claim forms required for usage. There are no insurance deductibles to worry about and no limitations on the type of services you receive. Most importantly, there is no annual maximum benefit - you can use the plan as much and as often as needed.

DentaLine also encourages a healthy relationship with your dentist that includes open, honest communication, attentive listening and a collaborative approach to your dental care. We refuse to inhibit that relationship with restrictions, hidden costs and delays in treatments. The dental care you receive should be your decision based on what you and your provider have discussed. Unlike many traditional insurance plans, DentaLine will NOT dictate treatment or restrict you from having the quality care you deserve.

How is DentaLine different from other discount dental fee plans?
DentaLine is run by professionals with extensive experience in the dental industry. Our team has over 45 years combined experience in clinical dentistry, dental office management, dental consulting, professional training, dental insurance billing and quality patient care. We have been on all sides of dentistry and have come together to bring you a dental plan that benefits you and your doctor.

Many reduced fee plans encourage dentists to build costs up by allowing providers to charge additional fees for lab costs, office visits and infection control. They may have a lower membership fee and lower costs on their fee schedules, but then with the additional fees added, you wind up paying just as much for a crown that you would have without the plan. With DentaLine there are no hidden costs. Our scheduled fees include lab costs, infection control and office co-payments. In the end you save more with DentaLine.

What do I pay and to whom?
Your total out of pocket expense includes your annual DentaLine membership fee, plus the reduced fees you will be charged for dental treatment you receive when using your plan. Your membership fee is paid to DentaLine and you will pay your dentist directly for services on the day that they are performed, unless other arrangements are made in advance with your provider. There are no surprises with DentaLine. You will get a Schedule of Fees with your enrollment so you will know how much each procedure costs.

How long before I am eligible for coverage? Is there a waiting period?
Most DentaLine memberships are activated within a day or two of when your payment is received. Coverage is effective immediately upon your payment processing. Unlike traditional dental insurance, you will be able to use your plan and get benefits rapidly.

Are there dentists available in my area?
Use our search option to find dentists in your area or call us for a personal referral to a dentist that can meet your individual needs. DentaLine is growing rapidly and new member dentists are joining every day. If you currently have a dentist who is not a provider, suggest he take a tour of our website or call our Director for information on how he can attract and retain quality patients with DentaLine.

What is a member dentist?
A member dentist is a participating provider. He or she is a dentist who has agreed to participate in our reduced dental fee plan and to provide exceptional dental care to plan members at significantly reduced professional fees.

Am I restricted to using one specific member dentist with my plan?
No. With DentaLine, you are not obligated to use a specific participating provider. You are free to use any member dentist listed in the dental plan's network, regardless of the ZIP code, town, city or state. You are free to switch providers at any time for any reason.

How do I know that the participating dentists are quality providers?
Our goal is to provide you with the security of knowing that the care you receive will be the very best that dentistry has to offer. All of our providers are subject to a discriminating screening process to ensure that all are licensed practitioners and his or her qualifications meet our own high standards. To ensure that you receive exceptional care, our member dentists are required to provide DentaLine with the following:
.• An initial application to collect general office and provider data
.• A guarantee that each dentist complies with OSHA and CDC standards
.• Up-to-date current malpractice insurance and state license information is kept on file for each provider

In addition, we accept only those dentists committed to providing quality care and service to you.

What is the best way to contact DentaLine?
There are a number of ways for you to contact us. The best way would be whatever way is most convenient for you! Our Member Services number is 480.836.9966. Click here to send an email to our Director or to get more information. Our mailing address is DentaLine, 10645 N Tatum Blvd., Suite 200-444, Phoenix, AZ 85028.

What benefits are available for orthodontic work (Braces)?
In general, most orthodontic procedures, services and treatments, performed by an orthodontic specialist, are offered at 18% off the orthodontist's regular professional fees. Most other plans have limited orthodontic coverage.

Do you have plans available elsewhere in the US?
Not at this time. Plans are available only in Arizona, however, DentaLine plans to launch a national program in the future.

Can I make periodic payments on my enrollment fee?
No. The enrollment fee is an annual fee which must be paid in full upon enrollment to become an active member. DentaLine strives to bring our consumers a quality benefit product at the lowest cost possible. Accepting payments on a monthly basis would increase the cost of processing, and would make our plans more expensive.
